Cima NanoTech’s SANTE Technology Wins “Best New Touch Technology” at Digital Signage Expo (DSE) 2015

Cima NanoTech was awarded “Best New Touch Technology at DSE 2015” by rAVe [Publications], an official media partner of DSE, for the company’s proprietary SANTE technology, which enables true projected capacitive multi-touch solutions for fast response large format touch screens. Cima NanoTech demonstrated at DSE a 57-inch Interactive Table Top with a touch response time of up to 6 milliseconds, similar to the speed of tablets today.

DSE 2015 is the world’s largest and longest running conference dedicated to showcasing interactive digital technology solutions. The independently-judged ‘2015 Digital Signage Champs” award recognizes companies that offer innovative products or services that lead to advancements in interactive digital signage technology and improved user experience.

"Touch is not new to the digital signage space, with many applications showcased at the Digital Signage Expo over the past five years,” commented Sara Abrons, Executive Editor, rAVe [Publications]. “I was excited to find Cima NanoTech at DSE, and was impressed by their technology which focuses on improving a very important, and often overlooked, aspect of the user experience - touch response time. Their 57-inch interactive table top demo was a delight to play with, and I found myself returning to Cima NanoTech's booth several times during the show to try it out and to show it to my colleagues."

Cima NanoTech is accelerating mass adoption of projected capacitive technology in large format touch screens by providing SANTE® transparent conductive material in various cost-effective and easy-to-integrate formats. The company is targeting touch screen sizes of 40-inch to 104-inch for applications like interactive whiteboards, interactive digital signage, video walls, interactive tabletops, touch-enabled vending machines and interactive kiosks. These applications are ideal for providing information in consumer, retail, restaurants, hospitality, entertainment, transportation, healthcare, educational and corporate settings.
